Acceptable Use Policy
Tafel Learn LLC
Effective Date: June 4, 2026
Permitted Use
The platform is intended for personal educational planning and application support for undergraduate admissions, including BS/MD and similar combined-degree pathways. You may use it to organize your own profile, school list, activities, deadlines, drafts, and application materials; receive structured guidance; and evaluate the completeness and coherence of your own application strategy.
Each account is for one student. A parent or legal guardian may assist a minor student using the same student account, but an account may not be used for multiple students. All information and materials must reflect the student's actual experiences, qualifications, and record. You must review and approve all outputs before use.
Prohibited Use
You may not:
- Submit false, fabricated, exaggerated, incomplete, or misleading information
- Create application materials that misrepresent experiences, hours, roles, achievements, awards, qualifications, or responsibilities
- Use the platform to impersonate another person or submit another person's work as your own
- Upload another person's private information, essays, transcripts, recommendation content, school records, or application materials without permission
- Upload, copy, distribute, or use content that infringes another person's copyright or other intellectual-property rights
- Share account credentials, resell access, or allow another person to use your account, except for parent or guardian assistance for the same minor student
- Create multiple accounts to bypass trials, coupons, usage limits, plan limits, or payment requirements
- Use the service to create, edit, or submit application materials for another person as a commercial service
- Use automated tools, scrapers, crawlers, bots, scripts, API calls, or bulk requests to access the platform without written permission
- Attempt to bypass paywalls, authentication, access controls, rate limits, or feature limits
- Reverse engineer, extract, benchmark, scrape, copy, reproduce, publish, or replicate the platform's methods, prompts, scoring logic, content libraries, outputs, or proprietary processes
- Use the platform or its outputs to build, train, evaluate, or improve a competing product, dataset, model, workflow, or commercial service
- Use the platform in a way that violates an institution's application policies, technology-use rules, honor codes, or integrity requirements
- Use AI-generated drafts, AI-assisted edits, or other AI-assisted materials for an application if the relevant institution prohibits that use
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or spam staff, support, other users, or platform systems, including repeated hostile messages or threats
- Upload malware, malicious files, or harmful code
- Probe, test, or attempt to circumvent platform security without written permission
- Attempt to extract nonpublic prompts, system instructions, secrets, credentials, private user data, confidential workflows, scoring logic, or routing methods
- Interfere with platform availability, monitoring, security controls, or the use of the service by others
- Use the platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
School policies may differ and may change. If a school's policy is unclear, you are responsible for obtaining clarification from that institution before using AI-assisted materials in an application.
Minors
A child under 13 may not create an account or use the service. A user who is at least 13 but under 18 may use the service only with the knowledge, permission, and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Education Records and FERPA
Uploading education-related records is at your own risk. Tafel is not a school or educational institution subject to FERPA merely because a user uploads education-related records. Upload only records you are authorized to provide and only when reasonably necessary for the feature you request.
Copyright Complaints and Repeat Infringers
We may remove or disable access to content that is alleged to infringe copyright or other rights. We respond to valid copyright notices and may terminate accounts of repeat infringers where appropriate. See our DMCA Copyright Policy for designated-agent information, notice instructions, and counter-notification procedures.
Commercial Misuse
You may not resell, sublicense, commercially distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the service or its outputs without written permission from Tafel Learn LLC. You may not use the platform as part of a consulting, advising, tutoring, writing, editing, admissions, or application-preparation service for others.
Monitoring and Enforcement
We may monitor usage patterns, investigate suspected misuse, preserve relevant records consistent with our Privacy Policy, limit features, suspend access, terminate accounts, revoke promotions, and take other reasonable steps to protect the platform, users, institutions, and our rights.
Violations may result in warning, required corrective action, temporary suspension, permanent termination, cancellation of coupons or promotions, forfeiture of access, and other remedies permitted by law. Termination does not create a refund unless required by law.
You may contact us to request review of an enforcement decision. A review request does not guarantee reversal, restoration of access, or a refund.
